Giorgi Berishvili is a managing and quality partner of “ Management Consulting Group” LLC. Giorgi has more than 10 years of working experience in auditing, assurance engagements and consulting services in different industries including financial services, insurance, transportation, manufacturing, retail and wholesale market, energy, oil, construction, healthcare, real estate and etc. He also has experience in public, charity and not-for-profit organizations.

From 2012 to February 2022 Giorgi served as Senior Manager at “Deloitte & Touche” LLC. He supervised improvement of project efficiency and quality both on the engagement and firm level. In addition, he also served as engagement special partner reviewer, which involved engagement quality control in different countries. He was a member of practice review team both at head office in United Kingdom and at different countries included in Commonwealth of Independent States (“CIS”).

Prior to Deloitte & Touche LLC, Giorgi served as chief financial officer in distributing company. He previously also served as internal auditor at JSC TBC Bank.

Giorgi is qualified member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants “ACCA” in United Kingdom and qualified member of Georgian Federation of Professional Accountants and Auditors in Georgia. He is also a certified public sector auditor of State Audit Office and licensed auditor of state register of auditors by Service for Accounting, Reporting and Audit Supervision.

Giorgi holds BBA in business administration from Caucasus University. He is proficient in Georgian, English, Russian.

Giorgi is responsible for supervising audit portfolio and maintaining, implementing and developing firm’s quality control and other policies both on engagement and firm level. He is also responsible for ethics and independence, risk management and talent.
